PRODUCTS
Each piece is individually hand made by an experienced artisan using traditional carpentry methods and natural raw materials.
We work with natural raw materials, hand dyed fabrics, and everything is hand made. This means there will be natural variations between products and batches. Natural wood grain, position of knots, slight varience in colour tone are all part of the natural patina of the product and represent its individuality. These variations are not considered to be faults. If you are ordering several items at once such as a 2 and 3 seat sofa it is advisable to place a bespoke order to ensure the batches match. Please contact us to get advice on this.
The products are hand made by carpenters so they are mainly pre-built. You may need to carry out minimal assembly on certain items such as screwing in the legs as this helps cut the packaging bulk and allows for easier delivery.
We have validated certifications for all of the material we use for sustainability, fire retardency and EU / UK importation compliances.
AVAILABILITY
If furniture items (not upholstery) are on the website then they are in stock, or due in stock very soon. The actual number in stock is shown on the product information page. In stock items are delivered free of charge to UK mainland addresses within 3 business days unless otherwise stated in the product description. For example our LOFT range uses a specialist courier due to its weight and therefore takes slightly longer to be delivered.
Upholstery items are generally made to order so will have a lead time of between 8 to 12 weeks.
With the exception of upholstery pieces we only show items that are available in stock or due in stock vvery soon so this shouldn't be an issue. Upholstery pieces are made to order and delivered as soon as they are available. They have a lead time of 8 to 12 weeks.
DELIVERY
Delivery is free to UK mainland addresses. We use DHL and IHLogistics to deliver your item and you will receive tracking details when we despatch your product.
We don't deliver outside of the UK at the moment. We can deliver to a UK shipping agent for you to arrange forwarding. Please contact us to arrange this.
In stock items will be delivered within 3 business days.
Back ordered / made to order items will be delivered as soon as the item is available or made which is between 8 to 12 weeks after ordering.
You should ensure that the delivery truck can access your property. If a normal sized bin lorry can gain access then the delivery vehicle will normally be ok. If you are worried about the product fitting into your property please measure your entry route and compare with the dimensions on the product page. Remember to allow for turns, obstructions etc. If you are stuck please feel free to get in touch for further access advice.
